Beryl, half the residents in my parents-in-law¡¯s nursing home have had omicron recently including some 90+ ?with heart conditions. None have needed any medical treatment apart from, in a few cases, a couple of days staying cosy in bed. Yay for vaccinations.

sorry about the rant! I¡¯m almost sure it¡¯s a cold - Daryl hasn¡¯t got it which helps with my diagnosis because Omicron is very infectious. My son, his wife & daughter in New York City all had it in the week leading up to Christmas and, thankfully, it was mild and didn¡¯t last long.
Anyway, here¡¯s a more cheerful Happy new year, let¡¯s hope 2022 is a huge improvement on the previous two years.
