The Yankee Rowing Fluidesign double is now available for club use. It's stored on the outdoor rack for the rowing?season. Some requests for those of you using it:
The double has a boat cover on it when not in use to protect the hull from sun damage. Please bring the boat from the rack with the cover on it to a set of slings on the grass (to avoid damage to the cover from the hardtop), with the boat upside down. Roll up the cover while the boat is on the slings, and place the cover inside the boathouse while you are rowing.?
To cover the boat again after rowing, washing, and drying it, please roll out the cover while the boat is on the slings, again, over the grass. And then buckle the bow and use the zipper and buckles in the back end. (The zipper is broken/stuck on one end of the cover--please don't try to fix or move it. We need to get it repaired professionally.) When washing the boat, please?be sure to clean and wipe the seat tracks. Then return the boat to its space on the outdoor rack.
