Yes, the FC7 works ok. The bad part is there's a lot of change from full-off pedal to half-pedal, and then not much change from half-pedal to full pedal.It's? not the nice, even throw you get with?a light-powered pedal and shutter assembly designed for it.??It's not so bad that you can't get used to it, but it's not an optimal?choice.
And I might mention, never plug an FC4 into the expression pedal jack, as it shorts the -15 VDC power rail directly to ground. There's a couple of different actions you can take with a mod on the PRA board to keep things safe if it's in a situation where someone might do that (i.e., roadie, studio guy, etc.).

Doesn¡¯t the FC7 / CB 83742 volume pedal work with the Yamaha CS-50/60/80? Please correct me if I am wrong (now I¡¯m curious). I think those are not so difficult to obtain.
And FC4 for sustain?
