Re: YAAC Map
The "Refresh all existing map tiles" checkbox says to only updates tiles that you have downloaded before. Since you don't have any previous tile files, there are none to be updated.
Uncheck that box, and then do a download for a specified center lat/lon and radius around that point (the defaults showing should be fine to get you started), and you should get some tile files. ________________________________________ From: [email protected] <[email protected]> on behalf of Don Poaps <va7dgp@...> Sent: Friday, June 5, 2020 2:23 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [yaac-users] YAAC Map I just did an SD reflash and loaded the latest KM4ACK build a revision 4. The buttons above the map control the zoom. Click the button with the house on it to center the map on your station, then use the - button to zoom out, or the + button to zoom in. Note that you might not have loaded all the map data in your area. If you notice the map stops exactly at one of the vertical or horizontal latitude/longitude lines (it's called the graticule), then you don't have map tile data beyond that line. Alternatively, you're using an old version of YAAC that can't handle the newer information in your map data, so the map rendering aborts mid-draw. So, go to the Help menu and select Check for Updates, and ensure you are running the latest version of YAAC (currently, build 151). Once you've updated your version of YAAC, ensure your map data is also up-to-date. If that doesn't fix the problem, email me again.
