You can easily do this by setting the radio¡¯s TNC (KISS12) in the interface menu..?
In YACC, you add the device via SERIAL_TNC, mine shows up as??/dev/cu.usbmodem13401
Then I have 9600, transmit enabled, and use the TNC2 command¡ ?
