Ignore my earlier reply - I misread your description of the catch.
I've had another look and found this catch which is very similar to the screw down catches for the aft locker adjacent to the transom. These are available in Brass and Chromed but not stainless steel.
From a corrosion point of view Brass would be a better solution than chromed steel and is not too different in price. Apologies for the confusion.
