WALKER Family Photograph

I've recovered an old photograph identified as ¡°Donna and her family¡± which was taken in Richmond, MI and sent to her cousin Edith HENDERSON in Memphis, MI on 5 Dec 1911. The photograph is of a family in a horse drawn carriage.? Donna writes on the back and let's Edith know that they will come for a surprise visit someday soon. She tells Edith that Hazel is home again and wonders if Lena is coming home every two weeks now. I¡¯ve been able to determine that this is Donna WALKER, and that Edith and Lena HENDERSON are sisters.

?

Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding the family:

?

Donna Estella WALKER was b. 19 Dec 1889 in Armada, MI to parents Charles P. or B. WALKER (1835-1890) and Lillie May BATES (1866-1916). Donna was the only child born to this couple.? After her father died her mother married Frank M. WHITE (1848-1926) and 8 additional children were born including Mildred B.; Carrie May; Franklin ¡°Frank¡± or ¡°Frankie¡± Calvin; Kittie; Dean; Doris Evelyn; Merle; and Daisy Emily WHITE, all born between 1899 and 1912.?

?

Donna married Erwin Lee VROMAN (1897-1983) on 15 Jun 1915 in Mt. Clemens, MI and they had two children including Vonda Mae or May VROMAN (1921-2005) and Dolores Anna VROMAN (1929-1987).? Donna died 6 Jan 1983 in Warren or Port Huron, MI.

?

Edith Harriet HENDERSON was b. 13 Aug or Sept 1865 in Richmond Township, Macomb Co., MI to parents William HENDERSON (1831-1912) and Elizabeth ¡°Eliza¡± Ann CLAGGETT (1835-1917).? Edith was one of 8 children born to this couple including Mary Almeda; Mary Elenor; Frances Jane; William Ashley; Edith Harriet; Baby Boy; Lena V.; and Omar Claggett HENDERSON, all born between 1858 and 1884.? Edith died 12 Jan 1943 in Memphis, MI and is buried in the Memphis Cemetery there.?

?

Her sister Lena V. HENDERSON was b. 15 May 1874 in Richmond, MI and died 30 Dec 1953 in Memphis, MI and is buried in the Memphis Cemetery in that city.

?

I am hoping to see the photograph returned to family and would appreciate you contacting me if you are a member of this family or know someone who might be.

?

Thanks,

Shelley
