I have successfully?read my XTS 3000 Model II HT (bought an old Dell Laptop running XP). It appears that the radio is configured for trunking and I do not have the knowledge on how to turn off what needs to be turned off to make it usable for Amaterur radio. I cannot even save the code plug since it has "invalid fields". I think the quickest way to fix this would be to load a code plug from another XTS 3000 that has been set up for amateur radio.
