I'd be interested in a pointer to where I might find CPS for the XTS3000.
Here's what I'm using for my XTS5000 radios
Also, if anyone is looking for batteries, let me know. I might have a couple I can spare.

Thanks Mike,
I got the invalid fields cleaned up (so I could write it out), and was able to configure one analog and two Astro channels, I think scan?lists are set up, but the three position toggle and other items are still a mystery to me. I put my DMR ID in the Personal ID field (a unique number that should work for P25, correct?). Also, why is it writing?out a session log? I turned off security, which got rid of the Key Lock error. Trunking is still there, but I am afraid to mess with it.
Thanks again,
Dave, KE0NA

Hello Dave,
?
Are you able to read the codeplug from the radio then email it to me?
I have successfully?read my XTS 3000 Model II HT (bought an old Dell Laptop running XP).
It appears that the radio is configured for trunking and I do not have the knowledge on how to turn off what needs to be turned off to make it usable for Amaterur radio. I cannot
even save the code plug since it has "invalid fields".
I think the quickest way to fix this would be to load a code plug from another
XTS 3000 that has been set up for amateur radio.
Does anyone have a code plug that I can use to overwrite the trunking configuration in my radio so I can start setting it up properly?
?
Thank you,

Morning Kyle & Everyone:
Just a quick opinion from us gang here in South Central Minnesota. The best Hand Hand Helds are the ones that have FPP programability in it....or other words -- Program THE repeaters you want on the fly includiung DCS/PL or even NAC numbers.
?
This saves you from being tied to a programming cable and a PC in my opinion.

Here's a pretty good deal for $294 shipped. A Q-split XTS5000R (ruggedized) with battery, IMPRES charger, and speaker mic. It's an Aussie tagged radio, but
the P/N is the same as NA units, so there shouldn't be any issues with codeplug programming. They look to be in really decent shape!
