I have the same problem using my Dell 650MHz notebook but not with the 3Ghz P4. I have a simular problem with Rocky and the automatic I/Q balance. My guess is the computer is too busy and I/Q is running in the "background" when the computer finds the time.
With Rocky I am trying minimizing the program and letting the screen saver (blank only) kick in - then uses my DDS sig gen to sweep the band VERY slowly. I don't know how it will work yet.
