I also use text only in my E-mail client. I find it awful
to have to have to paste html pages into my browser although
I did it in this case and was able to provide my vote
(let the administrator decide)
The appropriate thing to me would have been to ask readers of
this list to make a posting with Subject = "vote" or something
where everybody could give his voice openly. Just press the
reply button and give your alternative A to D (or whatever.)
I can log in because I had to get an youtube ID in order to
be able to upload videos. If I would not have had that, I
would surely not have created an ID just in order to be able
to vote on the future of this list. Knowing there is now a
backup I do not think the issue is important. Information will
survive:-)

Because I don't do HTML based lists and frankly cant remember the credentials. Its all too much effort for too little result. I like my info pushed, not pulled.

Bogus because you have to log into Yahoo to vote. Most of us dont do that. We just take the plain text emails.
