The v5.0 ptototype boards are now on order for delivery later this
week. Most of the parts are also on order with most in stock. One
problem is the low-noise amplifier chip, the OPA2228UA, is on back
order so I will probably need to make a sub for alpha board sets.
I am needing ten more alpha testers for the v5.0 design. I will need
to ask for $25 per alpha test kit to help cover the cost of the boards
and components. I would appreciate having alpha testers who are
already experimenting with v4.0. Please send me an e-mail at
raparks@... if you would like to be a v5.0 alpha tester.
If alpha testing show the design is reasonable for a kit run then I am
planning a run of 200 kits with an extra 300 of the Osc/BPF kits.
