Stream Deck Question

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

I see that Elgato is offering a ¡°Prime Day¡± discount via Amazon for the Stream Deck (Classic-original 15 key version) with a 33% discount ($99.99):

They¡¯re also offering the MK.2 (15 Keys) for $149.99 and the MK.2 with 32 Keys for $224.70 (10% discount).

Questions:

1. ?With the development work done to date does it matter which version of Stream Deck is utilized? ?It isn¡¯t clear to me what the differences are between Stream Deck Classic and Stream Deck Mk.2. ?

2. Any thoughts on whether 15 keys is ¡°sufficient¡± or is 32 keys a ¡°better" solution overall? ?Is having 32 keys worth the price difference for use in with Node Red?

3. Am I correct to presume that ?with Node Red running on a Pi4, the Stream Deck can still be plugged into a computer (PC or Mac)? ?

4. ?Has anyone done any development work where the Stream Deck is plugged into a remote computer ?(PC or Mac) and still be able to interface Stream Deck with Node Red located at the ham shack?

My amateur station is located in SE Georgia. ?I operate remotely about 90% of the time, so the investment in Stream Deck is dependent on whether I can use it away from the ham shack. ?I primarily use a Mac but do have a PC laptop I mainly use in my vehicle that could also be used at my remote locations to interface with a Stream Deck.
