I noticed on the new NanoVNA-H4.2 PCB there is an unpopulated silk-screened area labeled "CARD1". Does that imply that a SanDisk card is in the works for a future version of the NanoVNA-H4? Also, with the increase in the flash size, are there any plans to eventually increase the number of measurement points?

So no, the jog wheel switch is still present but usability is supposedly improved. Hopefully that means the switch is now interrupt driven. Looking for some of the first nanoVNA-H4 buyers to post feedback on this subject. I personally haven't experienced any switch related mechanical problems with the nanoVNA-H's that I purchased directly from hugen's Alibaba store (10 for classroom use). I can't comment on the quality of jog switches sourced by other clone manufacturers.
Gabriel Tenna White has said that her coming 3 GHz version of the nanoVNA will use push buttons instead of a multi-function switch. If the multifunction switch really irks you then that will be your best out of the box option.

nanoVNA-H4 (using STM32F303CCT6 and 4-inch LCD) arrived today via UPS.
Now we need to study and understand the differences compared to the previous version.

I just had contact with Maggie less then 3 hours ago, and made payment via paypal.
Also she sayd its CNY overthere so will be at work again for shipping the goods February 4

When I purchaed the nanaVNA-H4 I logged into the Alibaba website and send her a message requesting information about purchasing via paypal. That is how I got the instructions.
As others have mentioned it is Chinese New Year and they may be closed.

Even before the Chinese New Year, I cold not get my order paid. The
'error' message, rejection of my credit card, reflected they would accept
only a back transfer and displayed the instructions. I really don't care
for this type of financial transaction. I have no problem with AliExpress,
just Alibaba. But the only place you can be sure you are not paying for a
clone is from Alibaba. Grrrrrrr...rrr....rrr. I've emailed

Received my H4 today and excellent packaging.
Two issues surfaced almost immediately.
1. H4 would not connect to my Samsung Galaxy 8+ with c to c cable provided.
Using the VNA app from cho45.
2. The female to female connector has one end plugged up. Cannot screw on
cable.
Tried a quick cal using a f to f connector from my original VNA and it
calibrated fine.
Now it is play time.
I now have the original VNA, VNA-F, VNA-H4

If you prefer AliExpress then you might try the link below. The Deepelec Store is the official retailer for the NanoVNA-f and have also partnered with hugen to sell the NanoVNA-H4. I am not associated and came across this information during a casual web search.

Are either of your other two NanoVNA's able to connect to your Samsung Galaxy 8+? If so, then the nanoVNA-H4 should be able to connect by the same means. If not, then the C-to-C able also will not work. The NanoVNA android app is finicky regarding versions and android devices. The webapp mostly works even when the Playstore apk will not, but you have to be connected on-line.

Thanks Herb. None of my units will connect. Will try the on-line and see
what happens. Would be nice for field use though with my phone.

Are either of your other two NanoVNA's able to connect to your Samsung Galaxy 8+? NanoVNA WebApp connects to my worse clone from Galaxy Note8 Android 8.0.0 as does Serial USB Terminal by Kai Morich a SMAYS powered hub connects by type C to Note8, and to NanoVNA by Type A to C cable.

After reading a post from hugen earlier in the day, I discovered that the same version hugen firmware for NanoVNA-H4 diverges from the NanoVNA-H (v3.4 and below) with increased marker functionality under the "MARKER" menu. I believe the increased marker functions were merged from edy555's latest firmware. The merges probably were easy to fit in the increased flash memory of the NanoVNA-H4, but not in the limited memory space of the NanoVNA-H.

Can anyone tell me if the font is any bigger on the 4" over the 2.8"? I know the screen is bigger, but is the font bigger, or is it the same?
And yes, I know there is another firmware vers with bigger fonts.... but I'd like to keep the current firmware if I get it.
