I was using NanoVNA-Saver to try to use the VNA on my computer. I have since learned that it is probably less hassle to just use the NanoVNA. Thanks for the response and I have a very bad habit of asking questions without putting enough info in. Will try to do better.

The error message means, as Hugen wrote, that you need to update the NanoVNA firmware because the software you were using did not recognize the command. So the firmware has not been updated for you, but the software is waiting for new commands. Updating the firmware will probably resolve your issue. -- Gyula HA3HZ ( ) |

Well, I updated the firmware to the latest version I could find, and that was a joke. This thing is F;;;ed now. Can turn it on but I can¡¯t calibrate the touch and save it. I touch in the center of the screen and get the start screen for setting the Frequency. Can¡¯t open the menu with touch only with the button on top. Version 1.0.64 was the newest I could find. If there is a newer one could you point me to it. This is a DiSlord version that I found through the Absolute beginner PDF.

I'm glad you managed to 'speak' the device. I¡¯ve been monitoring things since the release of NanoVNA and trying to describe this on my web page. Unfortunately, I can¡¯t answer everyone¡¯s question. It¡¯s of interest to me - and I think I¡¯ve tried to gather a topic that interests others as well. I try to keep the software updates up to date in pdf files, you will also find a link to download them. Here you can read what has changed in the firmware compared to the previous one.
