Hi Peter, I missed the SP1 service pack under win7 32bit and also needed Ms VC ++. Without them I couldn't start. Unfortunately for some reason I could only install SP1 with an integrated installer

Try to turn off antivirus protection. Mine have a same problem, working fine on Windows 10 but hanging when running on windows 7. Turn it off kapersky antivirus protection then solve the problem.
