Take a look at "Font7x13b.c" and "Font5x7.c" using a text reader @ . You can see that all the characters are already covered so the additional code required would be mainly drawing the user interface and additional menu options. Both requiring code space that isn't available without some kind of tit for tat. Hugen already eliminated the Chinese character set from the AA (Analyzer) firmware just to allow the AA version to have the new tdr and other recent functions.

If you don't need the portability, one of the current software developers could probably implement a simple antenna analyzer GUI. There is plenty of memory on the PC side. The NanoVNA is so versatile and open source that if the demand is there, one of the Chinese OEMs will most likely use it as the basis for a large character antenna analyzer by throwing out some of the VNA related code.
