If you go through each cal step and save, why can't it simply over-write what
was in the memory in the first place?
My >>guess<< is limited code space and performance:
* Typical use wants correction for each reading
- don't want custom loop for calibration
- don't want special test for calibration to slow that reading loop
- before calibration, set corrections for identity
