Oristo,
The group is a mix of simple users, bench technicians/engineers, and SW
artists. To address how to use this instrument is complex.
The initial user needs to address their application and user needs, the
manual and documents so far do not help. That is, have a branch in the
instructions for each user????
Don't you think that the first time user, of limited technical ability, is
overwhelmed with the complexity of the machine and needs to start with a
solid foundation using Saver? Rather than do a hunt and pick approach to
using the machine? The more technically endowed users don't need this kid
glove approach. But more do.
I am a retired engineer from the RF communications hard wire side of use.
If I can't pick an instrument up and read the user "short form get started"
and use it, it goes into the drawer for later consideration.
The instructions now are appalling. They do more to discourage use rather
and investigate the wonderful potential in this little box.
I have, with a lot of help, gotten to the point of being carefully
comfortable with its functions. That is, without using the manual at all.
It is more of a distraction than a help. The users I have contact with
have been much more help, thank you very much.
I will, for my own clarification, document my steps to go from one
application mode to another and save them in the files for recall. I would
hope others do the same and share it.

Perhaps NanoVNA-Saver should be listed more prominently in the Wiki
Software section
and a vote taken to assess its relative popularity.
