Thanks for the analysis Larry.? I thought the modification would pique your interest. I was wondering what was going on with the port 0 coax cable replacement.? Since photos were provided for 1090 MHz and 1350 MHz I was hoping the modification was wideband but the tuned length idea makes sense.? Hopefully a full write-up will follow from the member. I thought the separate power source was for lower noise.? If it is for higher voltage that would make it difficult to incorporate on board without using a step up switching regulator.
