There's an interesting article titled "Radiation Resistance, Feed Point Impedance, and Mythology" by Robert Zavrel, W7SX, in the March/April, 2014 QEX. He points out that radiation resistance and feed point impedance are two different things that may sometimes coincide numerically but often do not.
