OK, why not ... But when I got to the website, all the FW files were gone. I did find a folder named " OLD " and that's where I found them - all of them, even the current/new versions. (I am attaching a screen grab). Previously, they were ALL in the main folder. Go figure. Anyway, I renamed the file I downloaded previously, since I had to download the same .bin file again. Of course, this time it worked. But it was not because I grabbed a different file, they are exactly the same file (except for my newly imposed re-name). Bottom line, the TinySA is now showing the "429" version, so I guess it worked out. Thanks. Question - is there a better place to discuss TinySA issues? I take it that this isn't it. Thanks! 73 Lyn, W?LEN -----Original Message-----

It works fine with the.bin file and the STM programmer. It displays correctly as "429" on the Version screen. (I "always" download it and rename to tinysa.bin before I flash it. However, sometimes I forget to rename and it uses the previously renamed version.) I believe that if you download the FW to a known location which is clean of all other versions (renamed or not) and use the STM programmer, it will work correctly. (Use the dropdown and Browse carefully to ensure that you have the correct FW.) Please post your result success or failure so that you can get help, if needed. Thanks! Take care, Larry AC9OX |
