Another One Bites the Dust
Fry's -- see
It's been awhile since I've been in one, but I was one of those who asked if they were shutting down, based on the empty shelves.? The salesperson assured me that they were just getting ready to remodel.? That's what I loved about their personnel -- they were so knowledgeable <NOT>. Pretty soon there won't be any place to just wander the aisles and wonder how you could justify stuff (like guys can do at hardware stores.) 73, John DE K5JY |

Strangely enough, Microcenter had no problem matching that very same day. Pat, K0OOK -- Pat in Lewisville '19 FLSB '97 XLH 883 (Rocinante) BS#140 K0OOK EKIII rides with me |

Fry's management was not customer friendly!
As their shelves began to get more bare, the
online orders continued from the warehouse
to deplete the stock. Their ridiculous scratch
receipt before exit was just that, ridiculous. The
short distance from the registers to the door
was the final customer insult. why would they think
anyone would be loading up on their way out?
Oh well, maybe a good business will occupy the
building.

开云体育They have been pretty terrible for the last 20 years.I stil have nightmares about buying PC parts there. They would restock junk parts that were B stock to begin with and make you suffer at the return line. The other club reflectors in the area are buzzing with this news. There just isn't a good ratshack/tanners/rondure place to get parts anymore. On 2/24/21 10:54 AM, k5jy via groups.io

开云体育Well can’t say we didn’t see this coming. I was in store 1.5 years ago in California and they shelves looked as empty as Dallas locations. ? PC and electronic Hobbyists, which is why they originally existed, have been on the decline for the past decade or so. ? Maybe they were a laundering operation for South/Central America drug lords and Trump took a bite out of them and then covid hit with closed boarders…LOL ? ? ?
