Does anyone who also currently lives in the DFW area have a Yaesu FT-90? I am troubleshooting one and wanted to see if someone could help me troubleshoot?

We did want to work some satellites during Field Day, I went through the list and found a bunch of good passes during the event on the Fox FM sats but, unfortunately, we ran into the same problem.? We didn’t have an antenna that would work for it.. It’s definitely a good goal for next year if we want to do it out there again.? That would be awesome.

Im thinking next year we should try and work some satellites. I have two uhf vhf SSB capable radios now and I want to try it out, assuming I can get the right antenna I think it would be fun to try for FD 2021. Or winter field day if you all participate.?

FYI

Awesome accomplishment with the pilot training adventure! We are proud of you!

?Hey folks,

It's been awhile since I last posted. The ERS was represented this weekend out at the Grapevine repeater site. Joe N3JI led the effort assisted by Chris K5VPQ. I understand AG5HV even dropped by as well as KE5GDB.

Joe got the replacement A/C unit installed, so the shelter was pretty damn comfy!

I'm sure stats will be posted soon.

-------

Updates etc.

Just in case you missed it, the Wylie site was dismantled and the gear sold off last year. A dew months ago, I sold the Decatur site to Jon Moon and David Stephens of the NCTC.

So we are down to just grapevine. 444.850. I still have plans to deploy a 220 machine, as soon as I can repair the duplexer I have. Hopefully I can pull that off the back burner soon.

I am done with flight school and am just waiting for my check ride. I am a pilot now, but after check ride, I can be a full pilot and fly anything I am rated to fly. I am pretty stoked. I finally got my new editing PC built and am starting catch up on all the training videos on my Wolf Pilot youtube channel.
