Greetings to all CFA Southern Region Secretaries
As we know all too well, CFA cat shows are currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We have no way of knowing when we will be able to return to holding in-person shows again; much of that depends on the course of the pandemic and what restrictions local and state government lift (or don't) as a reaction to it.
However, we are looking forward to and planning for that time when we can gather together again. As a part of that planning, there has been much discussion on whether or not clubs should have the option to bring in a local TICA or ACFA judge for the judging slate. This is not an option which is currently available and requires a CFA Board decision to allow or not. There has been much discussion on various social media platforms as to the pros and cons of this action.
At the request of CFA Southern Region Kenny Currle, I have created a one question survey regarding this action. It includes an area for comments. I'm sending this to all CFA Southern Region secretaries to share with their club members ONLY. Kenny would like input from the region and when we have openly announced surveys of this sort, we had responses from across CFA. That information is great to have, but, is not always reflective of this region.
This question is regarding in-person shows ONLY and is for the duration of the current pandemic only. It is not in reference to online exhibitions. You can find . Please share this with your club members.
