Should the method of calculating grand points change for the
2020-2021 season?

The CFA Board of Directors has been asked to consider a motion to double the amount of the actual grand points which a cat receives at a show for the 2020-2021 season ONLY. For example, if a cat earns 25 points, it would be scored as 50.
?
The rationale is that with a foreshortened season, it will be extremely difficult to grand a cat and some breeds/classes have a rather short window of opportunity in which to grand.
