Hi Everyone, super busy with work. In spit of COVID-19 I must work so forgive late weigh in. David has moved the show to a consistent weekend each year I believe so Easter weekend is no longer. I think this avoided the yearly negotiations I had to go through and avoided the potential for us to "step" on some other club weekend. Also it is the second to last weekend and should produce great entries. So really a great decision from show scheduling and CFA IMO. I think everyone knows this but wanted to start off with that little factoid just in case. Would it be possible for old times sake to consider "real" rosettes? No offense to Mary but having a simple rosette all purple with entire show hall decorations in purple would be so nice. I will ask Shirley how much we have in the treasury. i.e. can we afford it. Linda do you know what Mary would charge for comparison? Keir will help me with whatever page insert, covers etc are needed. I would be glad to write up a story. I pray shows will resume this next show season but they may need to undergo some changes which may affect budget. So if Mary's rosettes are the most economical that may weigh in heavily. I just hate to commit to that right now. I also recognize I am only 1 vote :-).? I miss everyone and maybe once this settles we can have some of you over for a BBQ and show planning session? The lake gets more beautiful by the day and I am SO grateful for the extended daylight and the ability to take our dog on long hikes around the trails that are here in Lake Linganore.? Remember if you are getting bored at home that I am super jealous of your ability to stay home and be bored. This seems like forever that I have working and coping with the emotions from leadership above me and the concerns of those who are required to report and work. Our leadership is concerned about revenue over people and our employees know that. I am the messenger so if you think of it pray for me that I remain steadfast and do my job well for the sake of those I work with and the mission we support. May this all be over soon.
