Just upgraded to iOS 18

 

Wow, no wonder people were complaining about iOS 18. There are tons of changes, stirring up resistance to change. Time to review all the moved Settings, new options, and find any changed defaults.

I have run into an odd issue. I basically 4 email accounts. All we setup in Mail about 5 years ago then I bought this iPhone XR, but suddenly the phone is telling me the password on one of them is incorrect, after all this time. If that were the case, it would not have confirmed and set up the mailbox.

I¡¯ve just gone to 18.2, although I don¡¯t yet know how that affects Mail.

I can¡¯t figure out how it is even related, and why it popped up now.

My first thought was it was a web notification, but I have that turned off and it is persistent when I am reading or composing email.
