Anyone notice a recent change in cursor behavior?

Last weekend, I noticed clicking on a browser button, or URL, in two social media sites would cause the display to jump away, usually back a couple of frames requiring a second click. ?Sometimes it would repeat for a third time. ?I mentioned this anomaly and received supporting complaints from users in both sites.
Has anyone else noticed this irritating change?
M1 iMac,?

Safari 18.5
I haven't tested against Brave, because I am still stumbling around, learning Brave.

Which sites?

You didn't indicate whether this is a constant or intermittent issue. ?I tried the latter two sites, but I wasn't able to duplicate the problem. ?With that said, I do most of my browsing on my iPad, so if the problem is intermittent, then I might simply not used it long enough to see the problem.

Have you tried the following Apple Support suggestions?

I would add, see if the problem occurs in Safe Mode. ?Among other things, booting in safe Mode clears some system caches.

My system:
Intel MacBook Pro?
Sequoia 15.5
Safari 18.5
