I have no experience with *this* drive, but I have gotten many things from OWC, including a half-dozen drives, a Thunderbolt 4-drive external case, a Thunderbolt 2-drive external case, and 2 different USB-3 cases for the drive removed from my machine when I upgraded the internal.

ALL of these have been flawless, with excellent responsiveness from OWC to any questions I had.

The 4 drive box was in my house for the house fire. No fire/heat damage where it was, but it was soaked by fire hoses and then frozen. When I finally got it out, I had trouble getting it open to take the drives out (which OWC helped with). Eventually I got everything apart, cleaned, dried – and both the drives and the box with its controllers and wiring worked fine.

I still have it but tend to not use it for anything critical.
