You start a new topic (or thread) by starting from a new email. You should never just reply to an existing email then change the subject thereby “hijacking” the email. I don’t believe you can

I saw that too, but when I look at the email address in the member list it doesn't have that problem. You wouldn't receive any emails if it was wrong. I don't know how or even where I would fix that.
