Re: YouTube Premium to download videos
¿ªÔÆÌåÓýFrom what I've read, the videos are not downloaded in a format directly usable by you. ?YouTube downloads the videos as EXO (video chunk) or BLOB (Binary Large Object) files, depending on your device.??For each of these, the videos are broken into multiple binary files, only accessible through YouTube. ¿ªÔÆÌåÓýOK, so I¡¯ve started a whole other argument. If they allow download, which YouTube do, I¡¯m not sure it matters how you download them. I like JDownloader2 because I can limit the amount of files it downloads (only video file). cjc

Re: YouTube Premium to download videos
I didn¡¯t have LOTS of time to look at those 3rd party programs, but I did read that technically, using them to download YouTube videos is not permitted by intellectual property laws.

Jim Robertson ?
So what would be the legal difference between using an online download site vs whatever YT supposedly supplies? ?
Personally I can't be bothered w/their nonsense and stuff that doesn't work and have always used whatever site works for free.?

audio message, full screen warning
Got a full screen, audio message telling me Apple had disconnected my Internet and that I should not shut down my computer. I'm going to shut down shortly, hoping it's not legit. Is anyone else getting this?

Re: How to access a Memory Stick Pro
Not yet, Bev, and thanks for the thought.
?
I found which was helpful.? I then spent a happy (?) hour or so looking at AliExpress where the prices were somewhat more affordable than ChatGPT had found - more €10 than €100.
?
I'm going to ask around locally and see whether I can find either an antique card reader or Sony device.

How to access a Memory Stick Pro
I've just come across an old Sandisk Memory Stick Pro MagicGate - see photo
?
?
IIRC it was for an old Sony video camera, long since defunct.? I have no idea what, if anything, is on the memory stick and I'm looking for a way to read it.? ?I looked for a suitable reader but failed miserably.? I found readers for Memory Stick Pro *Duo* but not for the non-duo version.? Does anyone have any suggestions, please, on how I might access the contents?
