Downloads in Messages is not automatic. Why not just open Messages and click Edit then Select. Choose the offending text conversation, and delete? Brent

I just found a better article on what safe mode does. It says that "third-party (user installed) fonts" are disabled in Safe Mode. So you won't see that 3rd party font you installed while in Safe
