What I am about to report to you happened once before.
Yesterday my wife and I were driving east on the Watterson XWay about 1:50 p.m. We had WAZE running on her phone and connected to Apple Car Play. Around Taylorsville Rd. WAZE no longer knew where we were - it kept thinking we were off the highway and kept trying to route us back on. I had cruise control on. When cruise control is engaged and you go from one speed zone to a lesser speed zone the car automatically slows down. When WAZE thought we were off the highway the car began breaking. I turned off the cruise control to keep the car from breaking. Once we got off the highway I pulled over and used the car¡¯s navigation system and the same thing occurred - it didn¡¯t recognize where we were. I tried WAZE on my phone - same result.
I figure there must be something wrong with the GPS Satellite. Is there any way to check if a satellite is malfunctioning? I mean if my phone, my wife¡¯s phone, and the car¡¯s navigation system are acting as if they don¡¯t know where they are then it¡¯s got to be the satellite, RIGHT????
