I ran an update on the Epson Scan software and now it sees the V600 - thanks.

I have looked through the Epson software but don¡¯t see an option to connect to a scanner that is connected to the Mac via us.
My Epson Scan 2 sees the USB-connected V600 without a problem. Try running the Epson Scan 2 Utility to see if there¡¯s a ghost scanner in the list.
