Connecting Xiegu X6100 using FLRIG to WSJTX Linux Mint

Currently back at square one as FLRIG is not recognizing the radio. I am using all this from KM4ACK's 73Linux

If both radio selections below do that, then revert to using vox for ptt, and setup vox in the radio.

A later version wsjtx (with later hamlib) , that you may need to compile from source may work.

Sorry, i thought I read somewhere that it did have it.

My other suggestion is to install flatpak 'bottles' and use HRD as the interface.,

Or get latest wsjtx_improved sourcecode and compile as per that link I sent.

First you can try the latest deb file appropriate from here ;

These have latest hamlib etc. The source section is close to these on search.

To install the deb? apt remove wsjtx ? first then, download to downloads folder, cd to that folder and

sudo apt install ./

or the deb you choose..

Flrig can do DTR and/or RTS(if not already needed for cat data handshake) on the same serial port as the CAT traffic.

I do that with my Kenwood HF radio.? It works very well with WSJTx, QSSTV (working via Hamlib) and Fldigi using its native XMLRPC link.

I can screenshot the Flrig settings if needed.

If it aint broke, hit it harder.

However for the X6100, CAT is the only game in town. There is no external ptt activation jack point to use a RTS/transistor setup etc.

shows information for wsjtx setup.

We need good CAT code = latest hamlib with latest wsjtx_improved.
