I have trouble with the RPI4 and FLDIGI under the default Wayland. CPU usage is extremely high and FLDIGI is very sluggish. I switched to the Openbox window manager and it works properly. ----Steve

It is a third party USB-C to USB-A adapter. I connected directly to the USB-A port on the Mac mini from being off overnight. The problem persists.

Yep, so the multiple entries of Fldigi must be different functions of Fldigi that's running and not just multi instances. So when I first start my Fldigi the CPU is around 21.1% and yours is 8.2. I

Ron, You should be able to select "Pulse audio" check box on the configuration tab for audio devices. Pipewire will be used. The "nice" factor determines how much CPU a specific executing program
