Re: Next version FLdigi
Tnx David. What about the condition "3 minutes on one band"? [ Types of modulation: BPSK31, 63, 125. The repeated contacts are permitted on different bands and different modes providing that a contact

Finally got FLrig working with my FT-747GX!
I posted a while back with issues getting FLrig working properly with my FT-747GX. I gave up on it for a while and today I randomly decided to try again. I came across a group.io thread where Dave

It looks like it installed a downlevel 4.2.03-1. I'll try it for a while and let you know what happens. ny3j@ny3j-NucBox-G3:~$ sudo apt install fldigi [sudo] password for ny3j: Reading package

Re: Fldigi Freezing
Adrian, I use the WIKI install directions: https://sourceforge.net/p/fldigi/wiki/debian_howto/ I've never had a problem with it unless there's something different with the new version of Linux Mint

Re: Fldigi Freezing
Yep, so the multiple entries of Fldigi must be different functions of Fldigi that's running and not just multi instances. So when I first start my Fldigi the CPU is around 21.1% and yours is 8.2. I

Thanks Adrian, Maybe I'm getting TOP and HTOP mixed up. Your right I only see 1 instance of Fldigi with top but HTOP shows multiple instances. I thought HTOP was the newer better version but maybe I'm

Re: Fldigi Freezing
Thanks David, I will select Pulse Audio. That's interesting about the "nice" factor and how to change it. According to HTOP it looks like NI was at 0. Do you recommend another setting? Also, the thing

Re: Fldigi Freezing
Ron, You should be able to select "Pulse audio" check box on the configuration tab for audio devices. Pipewire will be used. The "nice" factor determines how much CPU a specific executing program

Re: Fldigi Freezing
Adrian, that's the interesting thing is I'm not sure why multiple Fldigi instances are running. Next time I'll have to do the sudo pkill fldigi and see what happens. David, I have Pipewire selected

Re: FLDIGI 4.2.06 / RumLogNG v 5.19.1/OSX / MacOS 15.3
1. open the bandwidth on the transceiver. Narrow BW is good for your ears, not necessarily good for machine decode. 2. lower the digital squelch (right most control next to waterfall). David

Re: Fldigi Freezing
Pulseaudio or Pipewire ? What is the "nice" factor for each of the instances? Only one instance should be transceiver control (or use flrig, it can support multiple clients). If two of the instances

Dave, This weekend, I did not see any RTTY, so I thought I would try CW decode. ?I see the same issue of FLDigi not decoding. ?You can decode by just looking at the CW coming through. ?I am not
