¿ªÔÆÌåÓýIn addition to signifying required mechanical clearance (+placement tolerance), the courtyards can also account for the "shadowing" by tall components. This mostly affects PCBs with SMDs that will reflowed by (predominantly) infra-red radiant heating.-- Regards,
