Greetings all,
Now that Field Day is over, it¡¯s time to plan for the the Crater Lake Rim Runs (¡°Rim Run¡±).
One 6.7-mile run, a half marathon and a marathon, the Rim Run occurs on the second Saturday of August each year at the spectacular rim of America¡¯s deepest blue lake. ?Walt and I will once again be your Rim Run coordinators this year and we¡¯re looking for volunteers to help out with communications on August 10th. ?For most stations, a handheld radio is all that's needed to participate. ?
We will talk about this more at the upcoming monthly meeting. ?Please check your calendar and let Walt or me know if you will be available to help out.
