Just what I need.? Another reason to purchase an HF rig.? :)?
I'm game for it though.? The biggest struggle may be interest.?
Do we have a user base to support it?? I would think the Portland
user base was much larger but maybe we can pull a bit from
outlying areas?

Hello Everybody,
When I was living in the Portland?area about 10 years ago
one of the local hams held a weekly net on 10 meters.? The
main purpose was to encourage the local hams that held a Tech
license to get on HF.? Did you know that it is legal for a
person holding a Technician class license to operate on 10
meters using? the SSB phone mode between 28.3MHz and 28.5MHz??
The discussions were mainly technical?related to some aspect
of the ham radio hobby; mostly with information for
persons?wanting to upgrade to General.? I was a regular
participant and even though I didn't need to upgrade I found
the discussions quite interesting.??
I was wondering if there is any interest in starting a
similar net here in the Klamath Falls area?? I was thinking 8
pm local time on Mondays but am open to suggestions.
