Hello Everybody,
Tonight is the ?Monday Tech net at 8:00 PM local time 28.375MHz (0300Z).? Open to all licensed amateur radio operators.? Especially ones holding a Technician class or lower license.? Yes, even if you are one of the RARE persons that still hold a Novice class license you are allowed to operate SSB on the Tech Net frequency.? Tonight's topic will be FIELD DAY, FIELD DAY, FIELD DAY!!!??
Please remember to attend the Field Day on the Last weekend of June.? This year we will be competing with the air show so get there early and plan on operating all night.? Last year we did very well doing FT-8 and CW and I hope this year will be much better.
Also as a head's up on the calendar is the club picnic scheduled for Saturday, July 16 from 11:00 am until 4:00 PM to be held at Wiard Park under the canopy.? In the past to rev up some interest we have been known to schedule a hidden transmitter Fox Hunt in the morning prior to the picnic.
