Hello all

I’m using a home edition 2021.2_ version of JFW with Windows 10 on a laptop. I can’t get into the Jaws window anymore but can see it in the system tray.

?????????????? Something went terribly off when I let someone turn jaws off and manipulate my computer without speech. I could not monitor what she was doing. From that day on, Jaws will no longer load up with a hot key or by my going to the desktop, hitting the letter J and having it load up again. Both the icon and hot key are gone. The only way to get the computer to load jaws is if I turn the computer off then back on in which case Jaws automatically loads.

Without being able to get into a Jaws window, like I used to be able to, I do not know how to create another icon and hot key.?

What else could be wrong here?

The only thing I question is in system tray, it says to run Jaws from the system tray, but I don’t know if that has anything to do with the issue.

?????????????? as a last resort, I still ?let someone turn Jaws off if a part of a screen is not accessible. Then I have to go through the whole riga ma role with shutting down the computer then starting again to get Jaws to load up. Also, people use my computer differently than I do, and inadvertently, things disappear or I’m stuck in search or something else.

Do any of you have obvious? solutions that come to mind?
