Well after all the long instructions on how to get my desktop icon back, looks like I just didn¡¯t know how to drag the icon from the program in the start menu. Someone did it in split seconds. There must be a way to do
that with Jaws but I did not know how. I will get a ¡°laptop buddy¡± through a great volunteer organization soon, and then I ought to be able to have a simple way to create a hot key again. I thought it was through properties but I guess my abilities using Jaws
are too basic to remember this many years later how to do it.
