Otherwise it would result in a terrible mess when the resistance wires were ?daisychained¡°. Then the loudness of a tone would be dependant on whether e.g. the octave is pressed or not. I won¡¯t imagine what else would be involved. Actualy there some loundness dependency (also called ?compression¡°) when playing many notes at once. But that¡¯s another story. ¡ª Christoph
