L32 LogSync feature request, QO-100 Dx Club upload
Hello Rick Sorry for posting this question a second time (first time on your website), but I thought this place might be more suitable for a possible discussion... if you allow it. I am a short time member of the QO-100 Dx Club and I found a way to automatically upload QSOs to the club website, just like I do on LOTW, QRZ etc. There is an API on the qo100dx.club website that could do this. Is there a chance that this could be implemented in L32 LogSync? Maybe as an extension of the Webside upload function? hi all, i have a problem with logger 32 it stops by itself, after 5 - 10 minutes. version 4.0.335, win 10 64bit. in event viewer it gives error MSVBVM60.DLL, i replaced .dll and it still does the same. i reinstalled logger32 from scratch. has anyone encountered this problem?

Hello, It's some times that I have a regular problem with logger32 : "Error 13 (Type incompatible) in procedure doDisplayQRZ of module mQRZ. Error line 490 Logger32:4.0.335" and after several times, the message say "Too many errors. Error checking temporarily disabled" I NOW found the raison, and I can product it each time I want : It's only when I click on VU4AX callsign (on bands maps or DX spots window) ! Can you help me to solve this strange problem ? The text inside QRZ Lookup windows maybe contain invalid caracters ?? Tnx, Franck F8ADY

L32LogSync QRZ Logbook

Hi All Can anyone help with the L32LogSync tool? I've recently added a paid subscription to my QRZ.com account, but when I try and use L32LogSync with the site I get "invlaid API key". The debug file contains: 13/03/2025 05:57:11 - QRZLogbookStatus - Begin = 13/03/2025 05:57:11 - QRZLogbookStatus PostString = KEY=&ACTION=STATUSContent-Type:application/x-www-form-urlencoded 13/03/2025 05:57:12 - QRZLogbook Status Message = STATUS=AUTH&RESULT=AUTH&REASON=invalid api key &EXTENDED= 13/03/2025 05:57:12 - QRZLogbookStatus - End = Which doesnt really say very much else. Any ideas anyone? As far as I can see the logbook name, number and API key are correct in the QRZLogbook Setup window of L32LogSync. Many thanks. Mark G0MGX

I'm trying to import ADIF files into DXKeeper. I have errors I need to fix for a single QSO with Hawaii that shows "<CNTY:8>HI,Kauai". I've been trying to learn how to properly fix this error without success. Any help will be appreciated. What have I done wrong? The original CQ Magazine references are no longer available. County Hunter seems to have taken over. I suspect there is an authoritative source I have not found. HI, this behaviour happens from v4033, if I click a CW spot on the L32 bandmap it is changed to USB. That happens also on other bands. I have already "backrolled" to v.4032 and the bandmap click is OK. In the mean time a solution is found I go back to v.4032 73 Phil ex-ic8pof, now iu0ebv ps: now has done same error on the older v.4032

Problem with telnet (ve7cc)
Mornin' Helga. It is not unusual for any single cluster node to have occasional problems: they are, after all, self-funded hobby setups by radio hams, not professional highly-resilient cloud-based banking or missile command systems costing $millions. VE7CC's cluster has been less reliable than normal, lately, and it is usually turned off while Lee is contesting (usually it automatically fails over to AE5E's node). Through different tabs of the DX Cluster window, we can connect simultaneously to multiple clusters. So even if one is down, another may not be. Lately I have been using the FOC cluster plus W4MYA's cluster routinely, and I am trying-out IZ2LSC's cluster with its SOTA and POTA feeds. Here's my Cluster User setup right now, in VE7CC's Cluster User program: There is information about the cluster setup, including CLuster User, in chapter 13 of the Logger32 User Guide. I keep experiencing the same problem with Logger 32 freezing and not responding when I attempt to download my log. I have Logger 32 version 4.0.335 and Windows 12. Anyone have any ideas on how I can overcome this problem??? TNX, Bob/W4GJ

Hi Bob, I configured the radio custom setting to send specific CAT commands on QSY (enable break-in, set preamp, set the monitor off). Following the documented syntax the command sent to the radio is messed up (see the semicolon position). Custom setting: SSB=BI1;PA01;ML0000; Command sent to the radio (the semicolon is in the wrong position): QSY Marker Set : Cleared User action : I'm busy, poll reply ignored Set radio Freq/Mode : FA014330000;MD02;SH0BI1;PA01;ML0000;;FA014330000; DX Spot sequence completed : 1 command lines executed in 0,135 seconds. Poll every 100 ms Poll : IF; QSY Marker Set : Radio Freq: 14330 QSY Marker: 14330,000 To have it working I need a trick configuring the custom setting like following (always note the semicolon position) : SSB=;BI1;PA01;ML0000 with this the command is OK: QSY Marker Set : Cleared User action : I'm busy, poll reply ignored Set radio Freq/Mode : FA014320000;MD02;SH0;BI1;PA01;ML0000;FA014320000; DX Spot sequence completed : 1 command lines executed in 0,025 seconds. Hi I have tried to follow the manual step by step to import my approved qso's from LoTW into Logger32, but I can't get it right. I downloaded the QSO file from LoTW, imported it into Logger32 using the Synchronize LOTW from an ADIF file option, but there are huge differences between LoTW and Logger32: Logger32: LoTW: Challenge Lotw 2179, Logger32 2039 What am I doing wrong? 73 de Tom, LA9GX

Import of Chinese stations

Hi When I import from Lotw, almost all Chinese stations are stopped due to a two letter abbrivation in the State field, refering to a Chinese state/Canton. Is there a way to filter this out, or can Logger32 just ignore this? 73 de Tom, LA9GX

Teething pains transferring to Win 11 on a new computer

New computer, new SSD, with my old HDD installed as G: drive. Got Logger up and running, everything transferred over, (Have multiple copies of backups & complete Logger 32 folder squirreled away on various devices.) Got TQsl installed and transferred onto the new SSD. Problem is now regarding LogSync. I can't swear 100% that it was working, but I'm pretty sure it was, although i didn't upload or download anything, at least it seemed to be OK. Now, when i start Logger32, it starts, (is still loading), then starts Logsync, then Logsync freezes, then about 2 or 3 seconds later, Logger32 disappears from the screen, leaving me with a frozen Logsync screen. I assume I should uninstall Logsync, and see what happens then. Any advice on anything to try before I uninstall Logsync? 73 de N2TBP Mike

Just discovered that, in JTDX, the "AutoTx" button needs to be enabled for Logger32 Cherry Picking to work. Guess I inadvertently toggled it off somehow. Nothing to do with Logge32 update. Might there be a similar setting in WSJT-X? At least for me, puzzle solved.

Does anybody know of a good cross platform (Windows and Android) app that allows for logging contacts? 1. Must work "offline", so not web based 2. Must allow syncing between platforms (when in mobile coverage) 3. Must have a search function 4. Must allow export in CSV or text formats.

old CT logs

I have several contest logs that were created in old (9.7? I think) versions of CT Log and I would like to somehow get the contacts from them into Logger32. Dose anyone know of or have a program that will convert CT log format to ADIF ??? thanks in advance John
