since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB

HI, this behaviour happens from v4033,
if I click a CW spot on the L32 bandmap it is changed to USB.
That happens also on other bands.
I have already "backrolled" to v.4032 and the bandmap click is OK.
In the mean time a solution is found I go back to v.4032

Have you checked your bands and modes table, Phil?? That is the starting point for associating modes with frequencies.

Also, DX spot comments sometimes include the mode, and that can override the bands and modes defaults.

Look at section 2.6 (page 46) of the help file. There are three options to select the mode when you click on a DX Spot.?SeventyThree(s)?

There is also a menu option (at the middle of page 321 of the help file) that will take the mode from the comments of a DX Spot and use that as the mode to switch to. SeventyThree(s).

Hi Bob , the radio Is a Flex8k6 and the interface is SDC.
One more test Is conecting the L32 Telnet directly to a host and not via SDC
?

I suspect PowerSDR and SmartSDR does not know what CW is. Try changing the Radio Mode setting in your BandPlan to either CWL or CWU. SeventyThree(s).

HI Bob, it is not a hating problem , it is only a "guessing" of what the Programmer has thought
when has developed a set of instructions that changes my mode HI HA HO.
All has been fine untill v.40332... now is v.40335 and if I rollback again I lose also all the CWMachine_Macros...

GE, for what I am doing nothing happens with this ERROR.
Per sure I have done a bad manouvre somewhere and now the SPOT_click changes the mode from cw to SSB

I just looked at the picture again. If you are using the PowerSDR or SamrtSDR selection in your Logger32 radio setup, you have more problems than just CW.

The signature series flex radios CAT commands support the following radio modes LSB USB CWL CWU FM AM DIGU DIGLSAM FDV and DSTR
?
Your PKT USB and CW rows do not exist in Flex speak, so they are ignored and the radio is switched to USB or LSB depending on what band it is operation.
?

GM Bob, I repeat : for me the problem is elsewhere in the L32 settings.
Maybe in the EDIT BAND&MODES ?
I have tried L32-telnet connection alone and it makes the same error.
Of course it goes on USB if the freq is above 10Mhz and goes to LSB if below 10Mhz...
?
The Flex radio and SDC combo work ok as I use also N1MM and here is all ok.
?
L32 takes the spots from the SDC server ( or itself alone ) but something has happened after
upgrading from v.40333-34-35 , but now makes same error also in v.40332 as I have copies of
old directories.
?
I recall I have changed the CW in the BAND&MODES edit ... but cannot individuate the error.

I keep experiencing the same problem with Logger 32 freezing and not responding when I attempt to download my log.

I have Logger 32 version 4.0.335 and Windows 12.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can overcome this problem???

From the SmartSDR documentatiom - there is no radio mode CW, use CWU or CWL.SeventyThree(s).

HI Bob, the screen crops I pasted before are from L32 Edit Band&Modes windows.
If I am right I have changed only CW portion from 14120 to 14150.
I am going to try and rollback to very last v.40322 and see what happens

PS as already written the Flex&SDC combo has no faulty commands as L32 ALONE has same error result
and N1MM works ok.
Anyway will give a LOOK also at MODEs in the Flex&SDC_config

HI Bob et All, one more thing : the L32 uses the SDC telnet server not the Flex_SSDR spots.
Right now 12mar25 1744z I am trying the N1MM logger and its bandmap works perfectly...
If you agree pass to me your email and I send the L32 zipped directory so you can see&try something.
