Download the Cat command manual for the 7610 then study it along with the Icom cat commands in the logger user manual . Its pretty easy to do and you should learn how it all works. There are endless possibilities for commands.

I would look it up for you but I am heading out the door . 73 Dave N8DC On 07/27/2021 11:32 AM Andy M0NKR via groups.io <andrewgoldsmith22@...> wrote: |
Look in the radio documentation for the CAT command to change the filter setting. Then look at page 594 of the help file for examples of Icom CAT commands. The only thing to be wary of is the CI-V address of your radio may not be the same as the examples. SeventyThree(s).

Hi Andy The best I came up with for mine were; LSB? ? $hexcommand FE FE 98 E0 01 00 ## FD$
USB? ? $hexcommand FE FE 98 E0 01 01 ## FD$
CW? ? $hexcommand FE FE 98 E0 01 03 ## FD$
RTTY? ? $hexcommand FE FE 98 E0 01 04 ## FD$
Replace the ## with 01 , 02 , 03 for the corresponding filter.
You would need to use three buttons (one for each filter) in the RCP for each mode. (I could not find a method that did not include the mode in the command) There is also a command with which you can change the width of the currently selected filter;
$hexcommand FE FE 98 E0 1A 03 ** FD$
Replace ** with the required number as per this table: Again, multiple RCP buttons would be required for different choices. Tip; if you only are using one radio at a time open the RCP in SO2V mode, it doubles the number of available buttons. Hope this is of some use to you. 73 John - G7SSE ------ Original Message ------

¿ªÔÆÌåÓýHi John,?Many thanks for your suggestions, that worked like a champ. ?Only got round to trying them last night.? Interested to know what other things can also be done through RCP?? 73 Andy M0NKR? On 2 Aug 2021, at 10:18, John Munton - G7SSE <johng7sse@...> wrote:

Glad they worked Andy. If there is a CI-V command?(and there are lots)?for it the RCP should be able do it.? Check out:? You can also use the macro buttons in the Logger32 Data Terminal window if more are required. Also, you can have multiple commands under one button, e.g. to go "Split" and?turn on?"Dual Watch" together. I have attached the ini files for my Logger32 / 7610 RCP & Data Terminal if you want to give them a try and see some of what is possible (CI-V address is the default 98) Just move yours to a safe place and paste mine into your Logger32 directory. ( If the attachments don't come through they can be found at;?[email protected] | Files?) BTW, do you use the Voice Keyer in your 7610? If so, if you select Icom IC-7300 as the radio in the Radio Setup in Logger32 then Loggers DVK can be used to transmit the voice messages stored in your 7610. GL, have fun! 73 John - G7SSE ------ Original Message ------
