Re: since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB
HI Bob, it is not a hating problem , it is only a "guessing" of what the Programmer has thought
when has developed a set of instructions that changes my mode HI HA HO.
All has been fine untill v.40332... now is v.40335 and if I rollback again I lose also all the CWMachine_Macros...

Re: since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB
I suspect PowerSDR and SmartSDR does not know what CW is. Try changing the Radio Mode setting in your BandPlan to either CWL or CWU. SeventyThree(s).
?
PS. Don't you just hate it when your radio is smarter than you are?

Re: since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB
There is also a menu option (at the middle of page 321 of the help file) that will take the mode from the comments of a DX Spot and use that as the mode to switch to. SeventyThree(s).

Re: since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB
Look at section 2.6 (page 46) of the help file. There are three options to select the mode when you click on a DX Spot.?SeventyThree(s)?

Re: since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB
Have you checked your bands and modes table, Phil?? That is the starting point for associating modes with frequencies. Also, DX spot comments sometimes include the mode, and that can override the bands and modes defaults. 73 Gary? ?beater/tester &? since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB
HI, this behaviour happens from v4033,
if I click a CW spot on the L32 bandmap it is changed to USB.
That happens also on other bands.
I have already "backrolled" to v.4032 and the bandmap click is OK.
In the mean time a solution is found I go back to v.4032

Re: Teething pains transferring to Win 11 on a new computer
Merci beaucoup! I only had 3 more sections of the help file to go before I stumbled on it. On Fri, Mar 7, 2025 at 7:10?PM Bob via <k4cy=[email protected]> wrote:

Re: Teething pains transferring to Win 11 on a new computer
I Uninstalled L32Logsync using windows uninstall function.
Now, I get : Error#53: File not found. Failed to start utility program #1. (Yeah, I deleted it.)? Click OK.?
Logger continues to load until: "Check Database sync."
Then it disappears off the screen.
If I download and install L32, as is, will it overwrite and fix the existing problem, hopefully, or should I delete all of L32 and start over??
I realize this forum is for L32 issues, not an online class in computers, but any advice is appreciated.
I have version 4.0.334 so I'm aware I am one update behind.
Thanks in advance, Mike
?
PS: I have scoured the Help section, particularly 2.8 and 2.9, but am still unsure whether to delete or try to overwrite.? |
Re: Sorting database
See section 29.3.4 (page 719) of the help file. SeventyThree(s).

Re: Update: Cherry picking

The colours come from the DX Spots window (Right click in DX Spots, then go to setup/appearance/Credited/confirmed/worked colours) choose what you need.
Then in the menu for the UDP bandmap go to config and check 'Show only highlighted callsigns/gridsquares'.
I think that is what you need..

HI All,
Can someone help me with some information? I've been looking (for 3 days) where I can select so that only new or unconfirmed countries appear in the UDP bandmap?
