Re: since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB

I see the pictures, but I don't know what I'm looking at.
?
I repeat - PowerSDR and Smart SDR does not know what radio mode CW and radio mode PKT-USB is. There entries in the Radio Mode column of the Setup Bands and Modes window are incorrect. CW Radio Mode must be CWL or CWU. PKT-USB must be DIGUL or DIGU..

GM Bob, I repeat : for me the problem is elsewhere in the L32 settings.
Maybe in the EDIT BAND&MODES ?
I have tried L32-telnet connection alone and it makes the same error.
Of course it goes on USB if the freq is above 10Mhz and goes to LSB if below 10Mhz...
?
The Flex radio and SDC combo work ok as I use also N1MM and here is all ok.
?
L32 takes the spots from the SDC server ( or itself alone ) but something has happened after
upgrading from v.40333-34-35 , but now makes same error also in v.40332 as I have copies of
old directories.
?
I recall I have changed the CW in the BAND&MODES edit ... but cannot individuate the error.

HI, this behaviour happens from v4033,
if I click a CW spot on the L32 bandmap it is changed to USB.
That happens also on other bands.
I have already "backrolled" to v.4032 and the bandmap click is OK.
In the mean time a solution is found I go back to v.4032

Possible bug with Radio custom setting

Hi Bob,
I configured the radio custom setting to send specific CAT commands on QSY (enable break-in, set preamp, set the monitor off).
Following the documented syntax the command sent to the radio is messed up (see the semicolon position).

Custom setting:
SSB=BI1;PA01;ML0000;

immagine.png

Command sent to the radio (the semicolon is in the wrong position):

QSY Marker Set : Cleared
User action : I'm busy, poll reply ignored
Set radio Freq/Mode : FA014330000;MD02;SH0BI1;PA01;ML0000;;FA014330000;
DX Spot sequence completed : 1 command lines executed in 0,135 seconds. Poll every 100 ms
Poll : IF;
QSY Marker Set : Radio Freq: 14330 ? QSY Marker: 14330,000

To have it working I need a trick configuring the custom setting like following (always note the semicolon position) :
SSB=;BI1;PA01;ML0000

with this the command is OK:

QSY Marker Set : Cleared
User action : I'm busy, poll reply ignored
Set radio Freq/Mode : FA014320000;MD02;SH0;BI1;PA01;ML0000;FA014320000;
DX Spot sequence completed : 1 command lines executed in 0,025 seconds. Poll every 100 ms
Poll : IF;
QSY Marker Set : Radio Freq: 14320 ? QSY Marker: 14320,000

And how to import this file into Logger32? Cant see this described as a way to import LoTW.

Re: Getting those Granted QSO's right

¿ªÔÆÌåÓý

Easy !

In LoTW page, go to Awards menu, select DXCC, and on the page that opens up, choose the lowest menu called DXCC QSL download..

?

Tom GM4FDM when they created LoTW, they manually added your "points" already credited with paper cards. But this operation was poorly done. Some QSOs were intered normally, some were entered with a wrong date, some were entered even without a callsign (just the prefix). But for the system to work, they HAD TO include the paper card credits, otherwise, ¡ let's say you had Bouvet credited with paper cards, your LoTW numbers had to include that, so a newer operation that would upload to LoTW would not show as not credited.

Re: since v 4033 clicking on bandmap in CW changes it to USB

I just looked at the picture again. If you are using the PowerSDR or SamrtSDR selection in your Logger32 radio setup, you have more problems than just CW.
?
The signature series flex radios CAT commands support the following radio modes LSB USB CWL CWU FM AM DIGU DIGLSAM FDV and DSTR
?
Your PKT USB and CW rows do not exist in Flex speak, so they are ignored and the radio is switched to USB or LSB depending on what band it is operation.
?
Or something like that. SeventyThree(s).

Re: Getting those Granted QSO's right

I assume your logger file contains QSLs from paper as wel as electronic??? LOTW only contains confirmations from other stations who have uploaded to LOTW.
